A good fit when

Cargo where the delay costs more than the freight — stockouts, a production line waiting, a launch date.

Not the right tool when

Light bulky cargo. Air bills on volume ÷ 6000 when that beats actual weight, and furniture or packaging almost always does — that is an ocean shipment.
Full containers of low-value goods, where the freight would exceed the cargo value.
Commodities an airline will not accept. Some batteries, aerosols and chemicals cannot fly at any price.

Where we ship from

We book out of the main Chinese air gateways — Shanghai, Shenzhen, Guangzhou, Beijing and Hong Kong — and truck to them from anywhere in China. Our office is in Wuhan, which matters only in that inland pickup is routine rather than an exception.

What you will be billed on

Air freight is priced on chargeable weight: the greater of actual gross weight and volumetric weight, where volumetric is length × width × height in centimetres divided by 6000. This is the single most common surprise on a first air shipment, because a pallet that weighs 180kg can easily charge as 400kg. How long it actually takes

China to Mexico is typically 4–9 days airport to airport. That figure excludes pickup, export handling, customs clearance and final delivery — door to door is longer and depends on clearance and the delivery address. On the direct Mexico City lanes, cargo actually loaded onto a direct flight is in the air about a day and lands the next day; clearance and delivery come after that, and schedules rotate, so the flight is confirmed per booking rather than promised in advance.

Cargo that needs a conversation first

Lithium batteries — loose, in equipment or packed with it — aerosols, magnets, powders, liquids, paints and anything with a safety data sheet all have their own rules, and whether they fly depends on the packaging and the airline as much as on the commodity. Tell us before booking. Finding out after the cargo is at the airport is the expensive way.

Where our responsibility starts and stops

We arrange pickup, export handling and the flight, and we arrange customs clearance and delivery at destination. Clearance is filed by a licensed broker acting for the importer of record — so who the importer of record is has to be settled before booking, not on arrival. We do not guarantee clearance outcomes or delivery dates, and any forwarder who does is selling you something they cannot control.

We do not publish rates. On these lanes a number published today is wrong within weeks, and a quote that does not ask what the cargo is has guessed at the duty.

How much does air freight from China cost?

It depends on chargeable weight, the lane, the season and what the cargo is — which is why we quote per shipment rather than publish a rate. Rates on this lane move with capacity, and a number published today would be wrong within weeks. Send weight, dimensions, commodity and ready date and you get a real figure.

Is next-day delivery to Mexico City possible?

Next-day describes the flight, not the delivery. Cargo loaded onto a direct flight to Mexico City (MEX / NLU) lands the next day; customs clearance and final delivery happen after it lands and add time that depends on the file and the address. Anyone quoting next-day *delivery* from China is describing something else.

Can you ship lithium batteries by air?

Sometimes, and it depends on the cell, the state of charge, the packaging and the airline. Tell us what the battery is and how it is packed before booking; some configurations fly under UN3480/UN3481 rules and some do not fly at all.
